Concept
PostPandemicFutures is a virtual reality series consisting of 360⁰ videos that envision future possible scenarios that can derive from any current situation which has the power to shape the world we will live in. Each episode is a short journey through a virtual reality that is narrated from a beyond-time reflective perspective.
Humankind resulted from the perfect cosmic circumstances that led to particles combining into one unique cell that emerged into more and more complex organisms. Life as we know it is the result of multiple events of evolution, which led to the most complex beings known that act consciously.
Every individual action contributes to shaping the consensus reality we are all part of, while we constantly create in our minds other subjective realities. They can be frightening, optimistic, conspiratorial, manipulated, dreamed, realistic, hallucinated, idealistic. There are endless unexpected future possibilities. Just like in the case of the year 2020. Pandemic. Climate crisis. Social chaos. Individual chaos.
